Getting There
By Car
It's a 1000 miles from Nottingham to Girona! If you want to make a road trip then there is no better excuse.
By Flight
We recommend flying into Girona Airport (Jet2 or RyanAir fly direct) or Barcelona Airport and then taking the high-speed train to Girona which takes approx 38-45 minutes.Â
Things to Know
*There will be a drinks reception on Friday 8th October at .... , Girona City Centre at 6.00pm until 9.00pm

* We will be providing transport from Girona to the church in Madremanya and then to the reception and back to Girona on the Saturday.

* Although there are available taxis in Girona it is very difficult (if not impossible) to get a taxi where all the events are happening. We therefore advise that you stay in Girona City Centre unless you are happy to drive to the church and reception. We will gladly let you have recommendations for places to stay.
​
* If you are driving yourself to Madremanya, there is a very specific way to drive to the centre of the village. Please follow the map provided on the Spain Information page because you may find your car getting stuck in the medieval narrow passages! There is plenty of car parking in the centre near the Civic Centre.
